IT Education

Execution & Progression

In cooperation with the Foundation “Stiftung Informatik für Autisten”, we organise practice-oriented apprenticeships in the field of IT. During the apprenticeship, we implement projects with our apprentices, analogous to assignments from the primary labor market. The courses are conducted in accordance with the curriculum outlined in the Ordinance on Vocational Education and Training for Computer Scientists: IT Specialists: EFZ.

The education program is based on the dual training principle, i.e. practical and theoretical training run in parallel, thus enabling optimum integration of the knowledge acquired in theory and practice.

Up to two days a week, the apprentices attend the local technical vocational school to acquire the basic theoretical knowledge.

The practical vocational training takes place in a partially protected environment: on one hand on the Foundation’s premises, and on the other hand practical skills are promoted within the framework of external projects and in form of internships in the primary labour market.
